Chief Investment Officer

Michael joined Heritage Financial Counselors in June 2025 and brings over twenty years of investment experience to his role as Chief Investment Officer. He takes pride in offering sound financial planning advice to clients to help them achieve their goals.

Prior to joining the Heritage team, Michael worked for Bank of America, U.S. Trust and Brown Brothers Harriman, where he specialized in tax-efficient fixed income portfolio management. His clients included high-net-worth family trusts and institutional accounts such as endowments, foundations and pension plans. Michael earned his MBA in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business of New York University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®. He regularly speaks at alumni events, company presentations and professional conferences on topics such as increasing income in client portfolios and investment strategies that can potentially reduce personal income taxes.

Michael and his family live in Summit, NJ, and are active parishioners of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church in Chatham. He enjoys home improvement projects and contributes to Habitat for Humanity.
